Training Disclaimer
Last updated: 18 April 2026 · Read before starting any protocol
Zelos is a training education and structure tool — not a medical, diagnostic, or clinical service. Before beginning any training protocol, consult a qualified healthcare professional, particularly if you have cardiovascular conditions, musculoskeletal injuries, or other health concerns.
Not medical advice
All content delivered by Zelos — including daily briefs, session protocols, pace targets, zone prescriptions, and recovery recommendations — is for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing in the Zelos service constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not use Zelos as a substitute for professional medical judgment.
Assumed responsibility
By using Zelos, you acknowledge that physical exercise carries inherent risks, including cardiovascular events, musculoskeletal injury, and in rare cases death. You assume full responsibility for your training decisions. Zelos protocols are recommendations only — you are responsible for determining whether any given session is appropriate for your current health and fitness state.
Injury, illness, and health questions
If you experience pain, unusual fatigue, shortness of breath, dizziness, or any other concerning symptom during or after training, stop immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Any question about injury, nutrition, health conditions, or medication is outside the scope of Zelos and will be redirected to qualified professionals.
Emergency situations
In a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately. Do not contact Zelos via WhatsApp or any other channel as your primary emergency response.
Scope of coaching
Zelos coaches endurance training structure: volume, intensity, session sequencing, and recovery. It does not provide nutrition advice, supplementation guidance, psychological counselling, physiotherapy, or medical treatment of any kind.
Wearable and third-party data
Zelos uses data from connected services (Intervals.icu, Garmin, Strava, Apple Health) to inform protocol recommendations. This data is used as training intelligence, not clinical assessment. Metric thresholds (heart rate zones, FTP, etc.) are training estimates and should not be interpreted as medical diagnostics.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zelos, its founders, employees, and operators accept no liability for any injury, illness, or adverse outcome arising from training performed in connection with any protocol, recommendation, or coaching message delivered by the service.
